JEWELRY CARE

All Dalia Sabet pieces are handcrafted in 18k gold. We use fine natural semiprecious and precious stones that need to be handled with care and stored carefully to prevent scratches or chipping of stones. If dropped on a hard surface gemstones a susceptible to break or crack so please remember that your fine gemstone jewelry is precious and treat it as such.  

It is advised to store each piece of jewelry in its separate pouch to avoid scratches that can be caused by friction. 

Various gemstones have different properties. This means that some will require different care than others. 

• Diamonds are forever but they attract oil and grease. Soak in a bowl with warm water and a gentle degreasing dishwashing soap for about 30 minutes. Once this is done use a clean, soft toothbrush to remove any remaining dirt. 
• Emerald, Aquamarine, Garnet, Peridot, Sapphire, and Tourmaline are known for their beautiful colors- all you need is warm soapy water and a very soft brush.
• Lapis Lazuli and Turquoise are porous stones that should not be cleaned with soap or soaked in water. Wipe them with a damp cloth and dry immediately with another lint-free cloth.
• Opal and Ruby can be very delicate stones compared to others. Only use lukewarm water and a soft jewelry brush.

To preserve the integrity and finish of the jewelry, please remove when showering or swimming. If at any time you would like a piece re-polished or cleaned to restore its initial high polish or matte finish we are happy to do this for you. However, we are not responsible for the incurred shipping costs.
